Lindsey Carr graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and was initiated into the Kappa Gamma Chapter of Theta Tau in 2011. After graduating, she moved to Michigan to start her career and lived there for several years before returning to her hometown of Richmond, VA, where she lives now. Her career has spanned multiple manufacturing industries including automotive, solar, aerospace, and, since 2021, industrial baking.
She started volunteering with the fraternity in 2016, serving in various volunteer roles before joining the Executive Council in 2019 as a Council Delegate. From there, she was elected as Grand Marshal in 2021 and served in that position until 2025, where she was elected as Grand Vice Regent. Lindsey’s closest friends are Brothers, and she attributes a lot of who she is to those she met in Theta Tau. She continues to volunteer because Theta Tau gave her the space to be herself and grow, and she wants to make sure Theta Tau provides that for others well into the future. Outside of the fraternity, she enjoys playing tabletop and video games with friends, reading sci-fi/fantasy novels, working on home improvement projects, and hanging out with her cats.
