Chih Lin is the co-founder and chief storytelling officer at Dumpling Dudez, the first and only rainbow dumpling-making experience startup in the world. Chih started his career as a mechanical engineer, then later became the director of marketing innovation of an S&P 500 company. After working for big corporations for over 17 years, Chih decided to take the leap of faith and started Dumpling Dudez on April 1, 2019, with his husband and co-founder Michael Dorsey. Dumpling Dudez has created hundreds of the most fun and unique experiences for corporations, universities, and private parties. The story of Dumpling Dudez was featured by over 30 media outlets including a mini-series documentary " Second Act" by Vice Tv and MailChimp. Chih is a creator, dreamer, and "troublemaker" who is curious, and has a surplus of "million-dollar" ideas.

Alex Chan is the Fraternity’s Grand Treasurer. He previously served as the National Director for Professional Development, the Vice President of the National Alumni Club, as a member of the National Convention Committee, and as his chapter’s Vice Regent, Scribe, Inner Guard, and Outer Guard.
Alex is currently a Product Manager with JPMorgan Chase & Co. based in Dallas, TX. He previously worked for American Airlines as a Program Manager for Security Innovation, a Sr. Project Manager for Vendor Management and Business Analysis, a Business Testing Lead for Passenger Service Systems Integration, and a Lead for Strategic Operations. Prior to his tenure at American, Alex served as a Supervisor for Airport Operations at United Airlines and a Supervisor for Internal Audit at Six Flags.
Aside from volunteering with Theta Tau, Alex also volunteers with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. He previously served as the Branch Chief for Program Strategy in the C-Directorate and is a qualified boat crew member for surface operations where he has received the Coast Guard Unit Commendation and twice received the USCG Meritorious Team Commendation with Operational Distinguishing Device. He also enjoys snowboarding, traveling and diving when he gets the chance.
Alex is a member of the Class of 2011 at Xi Gamma Chapter (Texas A&M University), where he studied Nuclear Engineering before shifting over to Tourism Management. He has received certifications as an Agile Project Manager, Agile Product Owner, Six Sigma Champion, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and Safety Management Systems (SMS) Leader.
Michael Dorsey, founder of YogiDynanics, (and co-founder of Dumpling Dudez) has a combined 16 years of yoga practice drawing from a variety of yoga styles. Mike was formerly a senior chemical process engineer, specializing in FCC reactor design. He has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. His passion to teach others has taken on many forms throughout his many careers. Whether it's piano theory or thermodynamics, his passion is to help others achieve their best through mindfulness practices and yogic philosophy. The body and mind are amazing instruments of science and discovery. In each of us is a fire waiting to be stoked.
Jim Gaffney will present the Executive Director's Report.
Jim Gaffney (he/him) is a 2007 initiate of the Kappa-Lambda Chapter of Kappa Sigma at Shippensburg University, and a 2014 Honorary Initiate of the Tau-Alpha Chapter at SUNY Geneseo. He is a graduate of Shippensburg University where he studied journalism. Prior to joining Theta Tau’s staff, he served as joint Executive Director of the alpha Kappa Delta Phi International Sorority, Inc. and the Lambda Phi Epsilon International Fraternity, Inc., respectively, the largest Asian-interest sorority and fraternity in North America. He was the first Executive Director for both organizations. In his time with LFE and aKDPhi, he worked to develop and update national policies and procedures, streamline reporting systems and presided over the first-ever reduction in dues at LFE, while maintaining flat or reduced pricing on the per-member insurance rate.
Prior to his work with aKDPhi and LFE, Gaffney served Kappa Sigma as District Grand Master (regional director) for the Upstate New York District, opened five new chapters in 14 months, and saw two chapters win the Founder’s Award for Chapter Excellence, the headline chapter honor in the Fraternity. He was recognized with a distinguished service commendation from the Supreme Executive Committee of Kappa Sigma (national board of directors) in 2016. When not working to advance the Greek community, Gaffney, a native of Philadelphia, is a freelance scenic and lighting designer for theatrical productions and an amateur woodworker.
