Class of 2018

What do you do in your current role?

As the National Brotherhood Director, it is my goal to strengthen the bonds that make Theta Tau more than just an organization. I am able to collaborate with chapters across the country to develop Brotherhood programming, share best practices, and create meaningful opportunities for members to connect with one another. My goal is to help every member feel a sense of belonging and leave college with friendships and memories that last long after graduation.

What are three words that best describe you?

Loyal, Driven, Energetic

What does life look like outside of Theta Tau?

Outside of Theta Tau, I work at Collins Aerospace as a Technical Project Manager in the aerospace and defense industry. I am two semesters away from completing my master’s degree where I look forward to applying to a DSL program. In my free time, I enjoy playing recreational ice hockey, smoking meats, and hanging out with my friends or my dogs Padraig and J.

Why did you volunteer after graduation?

Theta Tau had a tremendous impact on my life. It gave me lifelong friendships, leadership opportunities, and a network of people who challenged me to become a better version of myself. Volunteering after graduation was my way of giving back and ensuring future generations of members have the same opportunities that I did. I believe all aspects of what Theta Tau stands for doesn’t end at graduation—it’s something we continue to build and invest in throughout our lives.

What do you wish people knew about your role?

I want people to know that Brotherhood isn’t something that just happens, it takes intentional effort. My job is to help create experiences and cultures where members can form genuine, lifelong connections. Years from now, most members won’t remember every meeting they attended, but they’ll remember the people who stood beside them, and that’s what Brotherhood is all about.
