Dan joined Theta Tau as a colony member in the spring of 2007 and then installed as a charter member of Upsilon Gamma April 8th, 2008. He was very active throughout his student membership holding many leadership positions including chapter regent, as well as serving on his chapter’s delegation team for the 2008 National Convention in Washington, DC.
He was appointed Regional Director summer of 2012 for the then newly formed Gulf region, holding said position for 3 consecutive terms. At the 2018 National Convention, he was elected as the Grand Outer Guard. Serving an extended term from 2018-2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic that postponed the National Convention. During such time, chairing the national Health and Safety Committee and the Convention Committee. At the 2021 National Convention, Dan was elected to the Executive Council as Grand Scribe, this being his current position.
Today Dan lives in the Tampa, FL area with his wife, whom I met through Theta Tau and has two daughters. He works for a small engineering firm as an Application Engineer specializing in 3D scanning, reverse engineering and metrology inspection.
