Theta Tau annually awards commendations to volunteers for their service to the national organization. These commendations are reflective of a level of support that goes above and beyond the typical actions of a volunteer.  

Distinguished Service Commendation 

Rachel McFalls-Brown 

(Kappa Beta, 2014)

Brother McFalls-Brown was selected to recognize her years of distinguished service to Theta Tau. She graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Since graduation, she has served the Fraternity as Grand Scribe (2018-21), Student Member of the Executive Council (2012-14), Mu Chapter Trustee, Special Advisor to Chi Chapter, Southeast Regional Director, and in numerous other capacities. She assisted in the planning and execution of the 2024 Leadership Academy. Her work has consistently been above and beyond the call of duty and is consistent with the best traditions and highest ideals of the Theta Tau Fraternity. 

Meritorious Service Commendation 

Raven Smith 

(Kappa Gamma, 2015)

Brother Smith has served the Fraternity as Executive Council Delegate, Regional Director and Volunteer Director. In addition to her various official roles, She has taken on numerous other projects, including but not limited to serving as investigator on numerous cases and traveling on short-notice to address urgent health and safety issues. Her eagerness, earnestness and enthusiasm of her work sets an example to which we should all aspire, consistent with the best traditions and highest ideals of the Fraternity.

Kristen Bobuk 

(Chi Delta, 2013)

Brother Bobuk has served the Fraternity as Grand Inner Guard (2025), National Events Director, Colony Director, and as a Charter Member of the Chi Delta Chapter at Marshal University. In addition to her official roles, she has served in numerous other capacities, including investigator, Special Projects Advisor and Membership Review Committee member. She has consistently displayed both a willingness to serve in whatever capacity is required, and an enthusiasm for her work, for her brothers, and for the cause of justice, that is in keeping with the best traditions and highest ideals of the Fraternity.

Kristin DiMichele

Brother DiMichele has served the Fraternity as a Regional Director for the Great Lakes Region, and previously as Atlantic Regional Director. Her work has consistently been of the highest quality, serving and advising the chapters in her charge. Her work within the Fraternity Health & Safety apparatus, which is above and beyond the call of duty for a Regional Director, has been highly consequential, carried out with care, professionalism, and creativity, and in a manner consistent with the best traditions and highest ideals of the Fraternity.
