Habitat for Humanity Alternative Spring Break

Theta Tau is excited to announce that registration is now open for our Spring 2024 Habitat for Humanity spring break! We will once again be partnering with Habitat’s Collegiate Challenge alternative spring break program, bringing brothers from across the country together in Florida and California to spend their spring breaks helping to build homes for the less fortunate!

Those that have been to our past Habitat spring break trips will tell you that this is the most fun spring break you can have. There are only 25 spots available for each of the three Florida weeks and 15 spots available for the one California week, so register as soon as you can!

Scroll down to see which week your chapter has been assigned!

Habitat uses the registration fee to buy building supplies, and in exchange you get a place to stay from Sunday to Friday (usually in a church fellowship hall), lunch on the work site each day, dinner on Sunday night, insurance during the build, a Habitat t-shirt, and a custom Theta Tau/Habitat t-shirt.

Our groups work Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM to ~3:30 PM. Nights and weekends are yours to enjoy with your brothers. Please plan to be on site by 6 PM Sunday for orientation/dinner.

ALUMNI are welcome and encouraged to attend any week they are available! Many employers will even give PTO for community service, so be sure to ask.

Regular registration closed on November 10, but spaces are still available. Click the registration form button to sign up!

If you have any questions — or if your week fills up before you’re able to register — please email our project leader, past Grand Regent Brandon Satterwhite at brandon.satterwhite@thetatau.org.

This fee covers a place to stay from Sunday to Friday (usually in a church fellowship hall), lunch on the work site each day, dinner on Sunday night, insurance during the build, a Habitat t-shirt, and a custom Theta Tau/Habitat t-shirt.

Late registrants may register, if space is available, for a flat fee of $200.

Some financial assistance is available to help with the registration cost, based on financial need.

Alumni or anyone else who wishes to donate toward that goal may do so here:
